MACHINE HALLUCINATION
Speculating architecture from captured space.
The ARC series is a recursive experiment. A panoramic capture maps the spatial experience of a real place, then an initial ControlNet pass generates a landscape through a diffusion model trained on 1960s to 90s architectural drawings.
A second, lighter pass at higher CFG refines the result, sharpening the hallucination into something that reads as buildable form.
THE PIPELINE
Capture, control, refine.
It starts with the room itself: a raw panorama, unwrapped flat, carrying the geometry of the space as a control signal.
The model reads that signal and answers with architecture, drawing on the training set to invent structure where there was only a photograph.
NEXT
Closing the loop by hand.
The speculation is where it goes next: extending the output into post-rationalization through manual architectural drawing, closing the loop between machine hallucination and design intent.
